IMAS' STARS Party on
Thursday, September 11th
McAllen- The International Museum of Art & Science
(IMAS) is happy to announce the date for its next STARS Party on Thursday,
September 11th from 6pm-10pm.
STARS Parties are held at various times during the year at IMAS in an
effort to bring the knowledge of the skies to the ground. A variety of astronomy-themed activities will
be offered inside the museum, while members of the South Texas Astronomical
Research Society (STARS) will be outside with telescopes aimed at various
celestial objects. The STARS Party is an
event that the whole family will enjoy.
The price of admission to the STARS Party is included in the
general admission prices of $7 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and $4
for childen ages 4-12. Children under
the age of 3 are admitted free of charge.
Members of IMAS are also admitted free of charge. Please note that due to the STARS Party, IMAS
will be closed from 5pm-6pm on September 11th.
