“Patents” at August’s I&E Network at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce
Entrepreneurs are rolling out new ideas and new items. Innovators will network and learn about the process of their idea at the next I&E Network on Thursday, August 24th from 6 PM to 8 PM. This session, Roman Aguilera III; Registered Patent Attorney from The Aguilera Law Firm PLLC, will present how an invention can be protected by a patent. The Aguilera Law Firm works with independent inventors, startups, academic institutions, and established companies in identifying, protecting, and commercializing their intellectual property. Do you have an invention that needs protecting? Does your patent portfolio need a review? They specialize in intellectual property matters such as trademarks, copyrights, and of course, patents.
“This program motivates participants to move their ideas from an intangible state to a tangible one,” said, Jorge Sanchez, Director of Business Development and Start-ups at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce. The I & E Network is a program designed to facilitate the connection and networking of inventors and entrepreneurs with the end goal of creating businesses, jobs and local wealth.
The I & E Network holds its meetings on the fourth Thursday of every month from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, 1200 Ash Ave, McAllen, Texas. The I&E Network is open to all community members that are working on new ideas. RSVP required, as seating is limited.
