McAllen to Honor Three McAllen Legendary Businesswomen on May 27
Join the McAllen Chamber All About Women Committee, the City of McAllen, The Law Office of John David Franz, Linebarger Attorneys at Law, Rio Grande Regional Hospital, Embassy Suites by Hilton McAllen, The Warren Group, and Socialife Magazine for the annual Legendary Businesswomen’s Luncheon scheduled for Thursday, May 27 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at the Embassy Suites McAllen located at 800 Convention Center Blvd.
The women to be honored this year are McAllen attorney Katie Klein, Laurie Lozano, co-owner of Dairy Queen restaurants, and Dr. Fredericka Borland. Each will be interviewed by The Monitor news reporter Naxi Lopez about their experiences as they developed their business careers. The McAllen Chamber will annually recognize women who have owned businesses in McAllen for over 25 years, and the honorees will share how they overcame adversity and challenges to reach their business goals.
Lunch will be served by Embassy Suites McAllen. The cost to attend the event is $35 for Chamber members or $50 for non-members. Sponsorships and reserved tables are available. There will also be plenty of door prize giveaways.
