ReadyBusiness Workshop Set for Lower Rio Grande Valley New Inland Flooding Toolkit for Businesses Now Available
WHAT: FEMA Region VI, the Lower Rio Grande Valley Development Council, and the Federal Alliance for Safe Homes, (FLASH) will welcome businesses and organizations to the area’s first ReadyBusiness workshop in Weslaco. With a focus on the new Inland Flooding ReadyBusiness Toolkit, workshop participants will learn to identify their risks, develop a plan, and take action to mitigate potential impacts. The daylong workshop delivers modules focused on Staff, Surroundings, Space, Systems, Structure, and Service.

* Kirsten Roth – National Flood Insurance Program, Outreach and Marketing Specialist
* Anival Henrickson – Texas Department of Emergency Management, State Voluntary Agency Liaison
