You are invited to visit the Symphony of Color exhibit at the International Museum of Art & Science, which opens to the public in the Clark Gallery on Saturday, January 19. Symphony of Color will be in exhibit until June 30, 2019.
See up close the 40 bead-encrusted, musical instruments decorated by Wixárica artisans (also known as Huichol), experience the music composed and recorded specifically for this exhibition, and celebrate the native art of the Wixárica artisans uniquely featured in Symphony of Color in its U.S. museum debut.
The exhibit is made possible by the generous sponsorship of the Charles Clark Chevrolet Co., and Clark Knapp Honda.
Symphony of Color was organized by the Hermes Music Foundation through the support of the Secretaria de Cultura en Mexico and the Festival de Música Contemporánea para un Mundo Mejor.
