What motivated you to start this business?
To bring the taste of Guadalajara, Jalisco to the Rio Grande Valley.
What is the history of your business?
Our business story began during the COVID-19 pandemic. We didn’t have a job so I started cooking Guadalajara style food, specifically Birria tacos. I started inviting family and friends to gather and eat with us. They loved the tacos and they encouraged me to start selling them. At first, I was selling only to those who were close to me. Then I started selling through social media networks. I never imagined that I would receive demand for birria tacos! We decided to open up a business so we could better serve our customers.
What product/special services do you offer?
Our specialty is tacos de birria with cheese. Our menu also includes birria consomé or broth, tacos de bistec, fajita, chorizo, big potatoes and tortas.
