What motivated you to start this business?
Uncommonly Rossina Fine Treats was born out of the need to create a unique brand merging traditional elegance with a modern and disruptive twist into the bakery/cafe world!
All our fine treats are 100% artisanal and are made each morning in our kitchen. We thrive on keeping a “small batch” mentality with the objective of having the best quality products.
The concept for ROSSINA originated from our passion and love for pastries and the lifestyle of pairing it up with upscale coffee, matcha or refreshing beverage. Our sophisticated and aesthetic venue serves as a place to unwind and relish on delicious fine treats.
What is the history of your business?
After graduating college, I founded NOMS Studio where I provided food photography, videography and marketing consulting services to local restaurants. To relax, I often found myself baking fine treats for my friends, family and of course my boyfriend Mauricio! I baked everything from cookies, cheesecakes, brownies and more.
It is no secret that it was very difficult for many small businesses to thrive during the COVID-19 pandemic and NOMS Studio was no exception. The restaurant community was having a difficult time surviving which forced them to eliminate marketing services like the ones I was providing through NOMS Studio.
When trying to figure out what I was going to do next, my boyfriend Mauricio suggested I tried my passion for pastry baking and turn it into an actual business. With his background in business administration and finance, we started working together on a business plan. After many months of planning and perfecting recipes in my kitchen, ROSSINA was ready to sell to the public!
What product/special services do you offer?
We specialize in artisanal bakery which we call fine treats! We handcraft all our cookie doughs, cake batters and creams to give the best quality products. Most of our products vary in sizes; this way you can enjoy treats by yourself or take them to a gathering.
We also craft upscale coffee, matcha and superfood refreshers. Our customers can customize their beverages to their ideal preference.
What makes your business product/service standout from the rest?
What differentiates ROSSINA from other pastry/coffee shops is our focus to be UNCOMMON in any way that we can. This begins the moment a customer enters our business and stares at our unique architecture and interior design inspired by 20th Century European “Art Deco.”
We understood the risk of building a company from the ground up with a disruptive approach that contradicts the traditional aspects of a typical bakery, but we knew that other people would share our same vision! We are extremely grateful for all the positive feedback we have received since opening the business.
As a small business owner, what does business mean to you?
For us, business means a way to give back to the community in any way that we can. We are blessed to have great team members that understand the true meaning and objective of what ROSSINA as a company and brand represents.
Our end goal is to have a positive impact with every customer, partner or employee. We want to be recognized as an innovative company and brand that young people strive to work with.

We love to support our community and we encourage any local food banks or foundations to reach out, so we are able to partner up!
