McAllen Day in Austin

Every two years, the Texas Legislature convenes for a 140-day regular legislative session. We invite you to join us for McAllen Day in Austin February 15-17, 2023.

The legislative trip to the state’s capital will allow partners the opportunity to connect with key stakeholders in Austin. Sponsors can send up to 10 participants or individuals may attend on their own.

Jumpstart Job Fair

With the ongoing workforce challenges faced by the business community throughout the country, the McAllen Chamber is organizing an all-inclusive job fair with activation booths to help interview and hire potential candidates on the spot.

Job seekers will be able to find areas to help build their resume, practice interviews, get their head shot taken by a professional photographer and more.

Man & Woman of the Year Annual Banquet

Since 1955, the McAllen Chamber of Commerce has selected two outstanding pillars of the community to be recognized for their contributions to the City of McAllen.
